Bailey Steger

 
 

Bailey has a strong foundation in volleyball, having started playing the sport in middle school and navigating the competitive club scene in Northern California herself. Her experience as a player laid the groundwork for her coaching career, where she has made significant contributions.

In the past year, Bailey served as the assistant coach at Dominican University of California and held the position of head beach coach at College of San Mateo. Her coaching journey also includes working with high school and middle school-level teams, further enriching her coaching expertise.

Bailey's vision for Coastside athletes is to provide an environment that nurtures their volleyball skills and offers opportunities to play the sport at the collegiate level. Her experience as both a player and a coach equips her with the knowledge and insight needed to help aspiring athletes pursue opportunities at the next level.

Before transitioning to coaching, Bailey played Division I indoor and beach volleyball at Loyola Marymount University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Math. Her commitment to the sport continued into graduate school, as she played at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga while completing her MBA. Bailey's educational background and her extensive experience as a player and coach make her a valuable asset to the volleyball community and a dedicated advocate for helping young athletes pursue their collegiate volleyball dreams.
