Connie Fu

 
 

Connie Fu is a San Gabriel Valley native who recently relocated to the Bay Area and is excited to share her volleyball expertise with Breakwater. She has a strong background in the sport, starting her volleyball journey during her high school years at Troy High School and playing club volleyball at ICON VBC. She gained valuable experience as both an outside hitter and libero, which provided her with a well-rounded understanding of the game and honed her skills in various positions.

After completing her high school education, Connie continued her academic journey at the University of Illinois-Champaigne, where she pursued a major in Systems Engineering. During her time at the university, she didn't let go of her passion for volleyball. She remained actively involved in the sport by participating in local adult tournaments and joining the college's club volleyball team. This continued involvement in volleyball allowed her to stay connected to the game and further develop her skills.

In her professional life, Connie is an automation engineer, indicating her expertise in engineering and automation processes. She's now looking to expand her horizons by adding volleyball coaching to her resume, which shows her commitment to sharing her knowledge and passion for the sport with others.

Beyond her volleyball and professional interests, Connie is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys various outdoor activities. She's described as a "gym rat." Additionally, she has two cats at home whom she adores!
