Kailani Bowers

 
 

Kailani, a native of Half Moon Bay, has had a longstanding connection with volleyball, dating back to her introduction to the sport in the 6th grade at Cunha Middle School. Her passion for volleyball has remained steadfast ever since, leading her to continue her involvement in the sport.

In her high school years, Kailani played two seasons on the Varsity team at Half Moon Bay High School, a testament to her dedication and skill in the sport. Even during her college years, she maintained her love for volleyball by participating in intramural games.

Beyond the volleyball court, Kailani has an active role at the College of San Mateo, where she assists adult school students with their transition to college. This demonstrates her commitment to helping individuals access educational opportunities and achieve their goals.

In her free time, Kailani is passionate about giving back to her community, enjoying activities like snowboarding, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Kailani embarked on her coaching journey in the previous season as the assistant coach for the 12-1's team, where she gained valuable experience working with athletes who were learning the game. She is excited to return for the current season and continue contributing to the development of Breakwater athletes, sharing her love for the sport and supporting their growth.
