Liberty Tuifua

 
 

Liberty Tuifua was born and raised in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, a place where volleyball is deeply ingrained in the culture, both on the beach and indoors. Her journey in the sport began during her elementary school years, and her passion for volleyball has only grown since then.

Throughout her volleyball career, Liberty has been actively involved in club and high school volleyball, gaining valuable experience and expertise in the game. Notably, she has had the opportunity to play in every position on the volleyball court. This wide-ranging experience has undoubtedly honed her skills and given her a unique perspective on the sport, making her an asset as a coach. She can connect with players in every position and provide skill-specific training in all aspects of the game.

Currently, Liberty is a student-athlete at the College of San Mateo, where she plays for both the indoor and beach volleyball teams. She is a freshman setter for the Bulldogs. Her long-term plan includes transferring to a 4-year university to continue her education and playing career. This demonstrates her commitment to both her academic and athletic pursuits in the world of volleyball.
