Mike Inglis

Mike has an extensive and impressive background in coaching and playing volleyball. He has been coaching indoor volleyball for Breakwater Volleyball Club and Half Moon Bay High School for a period of seven years. This substantial coaching experience has equipped him with valuable skills and insights into the sport. Most recently, Mike has taken over as the Varsity Indoor Coach at Half Moon Bay High School.

Additionally, Mike dedicated two years to serving as a USA Volleyball High Performance Coach. In this role, he had the responsibility of evaluating and coaching athletes for the USA National Team pipeline, further enhancing his coaching credentials.

Beyond indoor volleyball, Mike is also the Founder and Director of the HMB Beach Volleyball Club. He has successfully led the Half Moon Bay High School Beach Volleyball team, which he founded in 2019. In just two short years, the team achieved the remarkable feat of winning the 2021 NorCal High School Beach Volleyball Championship title. This achievement showcases Mike's leadership and coaching abilities.

Mike's personal connection to the sport of volleyball extends over 30 years, encompassing both indoor and outdoor competitive play. His passion for the game is evident, and he is excited to continue sharing that love for volleyball with the kids he coaches.

In the previous season, Mike served as the head coach of the 16s team and is enthusiastic about returning for the current season, bringing his wealth of coaching and playing experience to the team.
